World-renowned Jaguar yesterday found a new home in Qatar after Alfardan Premier Motors officially opened a custom-built showroom in the heart of Doha.
Located at the Alfardan Centre on Grand Hamad Street, the state-of-the-art premises is exclusively dedicated to Jaguar, showcasing the brand’s unique style, beauty and ground-breaking technology.

Previously, Jaguar shared the Alfardan showroom alongside Land Rover and Range Rover on Al Sadd Street.
“The opening of this dedicated showroom could not have come at a more opportune time for us, after the launch of Jaguar XJ last year, which completed our new portfolio,” Jaguar Land Rover Middle East, North Africa & Pakistan managing director Robin Colgan said.
“Jaguar has seen growth in 2010. And now that we have the full 2011 line-up, we are expecting to make great progress,” Colgan added.
The showroom, reflecting Jaguar’s global corporate identity, saw large number of guests, senior representatives of Jaguar, prominent businessmen and others at the official opening yesterday evening.

Alfardan Group president and CEO Omar Alfardan said: “I’m thrilled to unveil our new dedicated Jaguar showroom to our customers in Qatar. We’ve had a fantastic response so far to the new Jaguar line-up and the launch of our new showroom coincides with the arrival of the all-new Jaguar XJ, providing a fitting home for this vehicle as well as the rest of the line-up.”
“I’m confident our new state-of-the-art Jaguar facility will showcase the very best of the Jaguar brand, taking it from strength to strength in Qatar,” Alfardan added.
The company’s confidence and dedication in the brand is also obvious, as it has recently invested in a new purpose-built Jaguar/Land Rover after-sales facility on the outskirts of Industrial Area, officials said.
The showroom, meanwhile, features XF (V6 and V8), XJ (V8, with V6 set to arrive shortly), XK and XKR, Alfardan Premier Motors brand manager Samer Bou Dargham said.
“The showroom will be served by dedicated executive staff,” he said.
The stunning new line-up of Jaguar has been created by Jaguar design director Ian Callum and boasts contemporary looks and elegance.
