Qatari artist Ali Hassan’s untitled art work is estimated to be between $14,200 and $15,620, JAMM said

Independent strategic art advisory, JAMM, will host its second auction in Kuwait on February 9, featuring over 90 works by emerging and established Arab, Iranian and international artists, including that of Qatari artist Ali Hassan, a spokesperson said yesterday.

JAMM co-founder Sheikha Lulu al-Sabah said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to present the works of the top contemporary artists from Kuwait and to showcase the best of the best from across the Middle East and beyond.”

Part of the proceeds from the sale will benefit KAACH, the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital.

Offering over 90 works of art by renowned artists, including Qatar’s Ali Hassan, Nabil Nahas, Rokni  Haerizadeh, Rahim Sharif, Reza Derakshani, Damian Hirst, Hassan Meer, Ahmed Alsoudani and Farideh Lashai, the auction will provide an opportunity for both new and existing clients in the GCC region and beyond to add to their collections of contemporary art, the official said.

All pieces at the auction will be under $50,000.
