Merwebhotel Central Doha organised the annual staff party recently to felicitate employees for a job well-done, and to honour them after the first successful year of operation, a spokesperson said.

The event saw gathering of all of the hotel’s associates, managers and executive committee for a full-day of fun, games, and activities.
The hotel’s general manager Mario Borg D’Anastasi thanked all the associates for their dedication throughout the year 2010, encouraging them to aim higher and work better together through constant commitment, the official said.
Hosted by Sealine Beach Resort, the hotel team members had an unforgettable day which kicked off with friendly matches of cricket and basketball, followed by an entertainment programme, a dinner-buffet and concluded with the distribution of gifts.
The hotel’s purchasing secretary Miemie Khin was announced as the winner of the ‘Employee of the Year 2010’ title.
Merwebhotel Central Doha employs over 137 people from 18 nationalities including Qatari nationals and is the first hotel to open under the umbrella of Merweb brand, a Qatari-born and grown concept.
