In the first race, the winner was Abdullah al-Shatti from Kuwait on a Yamaha bike. In second place, also from Kuwait, was Mohamed Jaffar. In the E2 category, the winner was Mohamed al-Balooshi, of the UAE, on a KTM. The winner of the previous round held in March, Jassim Nassir, finished in second position in E2 category on a Honda. Khalid Khamis from UAE was the winner of the E3 category. Among quad riders, Abdulla Nasser al-Ali finished first and the Qatari rider Adel Hussain Abdulla took second place.
In the second race, the German rider Tycho Lieske was the winner in E1 category on a Yamaha bike. Abdulla al-Shatti was in second place. In the E2, the UAE rider Mohamed al-Balooshi was again the winner with Saeed al-Shemati also from UAE finished in second position.
Khalid Khamis was again the winner in the E3 category. Among quads, the winner of the second race was Obaid al-Kitbe, with Abdulla Nasser al-Ali finishing in second position.
Abdullah al-Shatti said: “I also joined the first round of Enduro in the E1 category and I will participate in the other rounds. This time the track was different that the first time, it was more tight.” Mohamed al-Balooshi said: I joined the first round of this championship but I had an engine problem and I couldn’t get point.
“I am very happy to win both races and I will fight for the championship. I would like to thank the organisation and QMMF for their hospitality.”
Jassim Nassir added: I won the two races in the first round riding in the E1 category but for this round and the future rounds I will participate in the E2 category. My aim is to win the ET title. We had problem with the water that makes it more risky and can damage the engine of the bike.”
After each race the podium ceremony was held and trophies were given by Nasser Khalifa
