The July Vodafone Monthly Mug at Doha Golf Club was well supported despite the windy conditions. Even with wind speeds of up to 25mph 117 Doha Golf Club members participated.

Scott Flewellen was the champion in Flight A winning on countback from Jeff Glover. They both scored 36 points, Scott’s consistent play earned him 18 points on each 9, whereas Jeffs play on the front 9 meant he scored 19 points and only 17 on the back, meaning Scott won due to a higher back nine total.
Flight B was won by Kelly Dagless again on countback who scored 40 points with the highlight of the round undoubtedly being a birdie 4 on the 18th hole .
Terry Farnworth and Randy Holt were the unfortunate duo beaten on countback.
Jens Otto Larsen won Flight C without the need for countback as he scored 41 points to beat the nearest challenger by 3.
Chang Sook Kim won the ladies flight by countback with 31 points.
