Organisers and promoters pose after announcing the launch of the Qatar Corporate League golf tournament yesterday
The first Corporate League Qatar golf tournament will be held on November 23 and 24, organisers Network Advertising and Events announced yesterday.
The tournament is being held in association with the Qatar Golf Association and Qatar Olympic Committee with Qatar Today and T Qatar magazines as media partners.
 Qatar Golf Association Executive Director Mohamed Faisal al-Naimi expressed his delight at the launch of the tournament.
“We are very happy to bring such a unique event to Qatar. The event will attract more people to the game. Sport is an essential component of Qatar’s National Vision 2030 as it will be hosting FIFA World Cup 2022,” he said.
Fahd Nasser al-Naimi, Qatar Golf Association’s General Secretary, added: “The Qatar Golf Association, since its establishment has focused on the development of Qatari golf by hosting many events. We believe this kind of event will definitely motivate corporate professionals.”
Shabrawi Khater, Managing Director of Network Advertising and Events, said it was a great honour for them to be organising the tournament.
Behind “Corporate League Qatar” is a team with years of experience who sat together to plan for such an event. Our aim is to have over 320 players who will be playing for two days and bring along their families with them.
“We are going to do our best to develop the Corporate League as a fun event as well as create opportunities for networking.
