Doha: Birla Public School won the QCA Under-14 Girls Cricket Tournament beating Pakistan Education Center in the final, recently.
Hiral Agarwal of BPS was the star performer in the final and she walked away with the player of the final award. She smashed a superb 68 runs and took a wicket.
The thirs place in the tournament was bagged by Pak Shama School.
Manzoor Ahmad, General Secretary of the Qatar Cricket Association gave away the prizes in presence of members of the women’s committee and sports teachers.
Santhiya Kandaraja of Birla Public School was adjudged the best batswoman for scoring 106 runs in the tournament. Khadija Ahmed of Pakistan Education Center was outstanding throughout the tournament. She picked six wickets to win the best bowler’s award and was chosen as the best player of the tournament.
