Officials from Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) and organisers of the Heir Apparent’s Cup took part in the draw ceremony conducted in front of the local media yesterday.
QSLM chief commercial officer Abdul Rahman al-Dossary and competition  supervisor Hamad al-Hajri were joined by club representatives Ahmad Abbasi, Yousef Bakheet, Abdul Rahman al-Kuwari and Ghulam Mohamed at the draw ceremony.
Al-Dossary later congratulated Lekhwiya on winning the QSL title for the second time.
“I think the stage is set for some exciting football. The top four sides have qualified for the Heir Apparent Cup. I am sure some interesting football will be on display in the Heir Apparent Cup,” al-Dossary said.
