Residents of a shanty settlement in Sitio San Roque throw mud at the National Housing Authority (NHA) compound against a new threat of the demolition of their houses in Manila yesterday. The residents plan to barricade a national highway as the local government pursues its plan to clean up the area to give rise to a new business district.
