Food security and livelihoods are at risk after heavy rains caused widespread flooding and drove hundreds of thousands from their homes, leaving 43 people dead, and damaging or destroying close to 30,000 homes. Damage to agricultural land could leave up to 1mn people, including 400,000 children, without enough food, according to Save the Children.
