Podar Pearl School has been named Qatar’s 1+ School in the Education World Global School Rankings 2026–2027 for the second consecutive year, recognising its quality teaching, effective leadership, and holistic student development.

School president C Muhamed Nizar received the award on behalf of the school at the ceremony in Delhi on October 23, where school leaders and educationists discussed the future of school leadership, the responsible use of AI in learning, regular reading and the role of teachers.

Receiving recognition at an international platform is a moment of pride for the school’s management, leadership, teachers, students and parents. The school’s planned new campus in Al Mansoura, Doha, marks another milestone in its growth, reaffirming its commitment to educational excellence and to nurturing confident, capable and responsible global citizens.

The new campus follows the signing of the land allocation agreement by Nizar with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education assistant undersecretary for Private Education Affairs, Omar Abdulaziz al-Nuaimi, in the presence of HE Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater, Minister of Education and Higher Education; HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal al-Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry; Engineer Mohammed bin Abdulaziz al-Meer, president of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal); and other senior officials.

After the official signing, Nizar was joined for the commemorative event and photo session by vice presidents Dr Steffy Rachel Sam and Pranav Pradeep, and Board of Directors members Dr Mohamed Althaf, Shamna Althaf, Sam Mathew, Asharaf Madathil and Anwar P P.

“This dual milestone is a testament to a shared vision: that excellence in education is built on trust, sustained effort and an unwavering commitment to every learner,” said Nizar. “We are deeply grateful to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for entrusting us with the opportunity to extend that vision to Al Mansoura.”
