His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani participated today in the Global Perspectives: In Doha event, held at the Rosewood Doha. The event was organized by CNN in collaboration with Media City Qatar.
In his remarks, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed participants and guests from across the globe, and expressed his gratitude to CNN and Media City Qatar for organizing the event.
His Excellency emphasized the importance of dialogue and the exchange of views in light of rapid global transformations and the interconnected nature of international challenges. He noted that the State of Qatar believes in the value of dialogue, even during times of disagreement, as a means to build understanding and find common ground.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that the event’s program offers a wide range of perspectives across the fields of business, technology, media, and culture, expressing his hope that the discussions will contribute to generating new ideas and fostering a constructive exchange of expertise.
The event, which is being held for the first time in the Middle East and the Gulf region, brings together an elite group of prominent figures, political leaders, business executives, and visionaries.
The event explores a wide range of topics, including the global systems that sustain the functioning of economies, connectivity, and various aspects of daily life; the role of influential figures in shaping public attention; and the significance of human intuition, creativity, leadership, and adaptability, all in the context of accelerating technological advancements and an increasing reliance on automated systems.
