The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), in co-operation with the Friends of the Environment Centre, has launched a plant cultivation and clean-up campaign at Rawdat Umm Al Amad to mark the Arab Agriculture Day.
The campaign, involving students from Al Andalus Schools Complex and Ali bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani Secondary School, included planting 300 native wild seedlings and spreading local wild plant seeds to support biodiversity and regenerate natural vegetation.
