he Cabinet has approved a draft memorandum of understanding between Qatar and Spain to strengthen co-operation in peace, reconciliation and mediation, further reinforcing Doha’s international diplomatic and mediation efforts.
The approval came at the Cabinet’s weekly meeting chaired by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani at the Amiri Diwan yesterday.
HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali al-Mohannadi said after the meeting that the Cabinet also approved a draft MoU between Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on co-operation in diplomatic training and education.
The Cabinet also approved a draft agreement between the Qatar government and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on arrangements for hosting, organising and funding the 2026 ITU Plenipotentiary Conference, scheduled to be held in Doha from November 9-27.
