Around 500 Israeli colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque Wednesday under the protection of Israeli occupation police, on the fifth day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing local sources, reported that a group of Israeli colonists, led by Knesset member Moshe Feiglin, stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Colonists incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque continue during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, which began on September 26 and runs through October 2.
According to data from the Jerusalem Governorate, more than 40,661 Israeli colonists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the start of the year through the end of August 2026, while around 800 orders banning Jerusalem residents from the mosque were issued from the beginning of the year through early September.
