Qatar and Britain have signed an extension to their defence co-operation agreement during a visit to Britain by His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan al-Thani.
The agreement was signed by HE Sheikh Saoud and British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting during a meeting that discussed issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen bilateral co-operation.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s ambassador to Britain, HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud al-Thani, and senior officers and officials from both sides.
