Israeli forces continued their attacks on towns in southern Lebanon on Monday, carrying out artillery shelling and machine-gun fire operations in several areas of the region.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), Israeli forces conducted intermittent artillery shelling on the outskirts of Al-Deir neighborhood in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa, while simultaneously opening machine-gun fire toward the town of Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district.
The Israeli attacks on Lebanon come amidst ongoing tension and escalation along the southern border, alongside fears that the scope of the attacks will widen and that residential areas will continue to be targeted.
