Media City Qatar and Qatar's satellite operator Es'hailSat have rolled out an exclusive new offering that puts world-class satellite infrastructure within easy reach of Media City Qatar's licensed companies, arming them with tailored packages to power their operations and fuel their growth.
The offer was unveiled on the sidelines of the two organisations' participation at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, one of the world's leading broadcast and media technology showcases.
Under the arrangement, companies licensed under Media City Qatar will gain preferential access to Es'hailSat's full suite of satellite and broadcast services, spanning direct-to-home (DTH) distribution, broadcast contribution, broadband and enterprise connectivity, and its Tier IV, ISO-certified teleport facilities in Qatar. The package is further sweetened with value-added services including antenna hosting, data centre and co-location support, playout, and media asset management.
Designed with the entire media value chain in mind, the offering caters to television and radio broadcasters, OTT and digital media platforms, production and post-production houses, technology and telecoms firms, creative and content businesses, and ambitious startups and scale-ups alike.
CEO of Media City Qatar Hamad Omar al-Mannai said: "As we continue to expand our ecosystem, a key focus for us is ensuring that our licensed companies have access to the infrastructure and support they need to grow. Our collaboration with Es'hailSat puts this commitment into practice, turning the MoU we recently signed into a tangible offering that supports companies in strengthening their operations, expanding their capabilities, and accessing new regional opportunities."
CEO and President of Es'hailSat Ali al-Kuwari added: "Our partnership with Media City Qatar underscores our steadfast commitment to cultivating a thriving media ecosystem in Qatar and across the region. By granting licensed companies exclusive access to our world-class satellite infrastructure and services, we are empowering them to optimise operational costs and seize new opportunities across the Middle East and North Africa."
The new offer marks the first tangible outcome of the recently signed MoU between Media City Qatar and Es'hailSat, converting the partnership on paper into real benefits for licensed companies on the ground. It also reinforces Media City Qatar's broader mission of connecting companies with the strategic partners, infrastructure and capabilities they need to establish, operate and grow in Qatar.
