HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing yesterday.
They reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen co-operation across various sectors.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and promote security and stability, stressing the need to safeguard freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
The prime minister reaffirmed Qatar’s full support for diplomatic efforts to secure maritime navigation and pave the way for a comprehensive agreement capable of achieving sustainable peace in the region.Q
