Avenues of joint co-operation and ways to enhance them, particularly in areas of infrastructure, public transportation projects, developing logistics corridors for transporting goods, and public-private partnerships for project funding, were the centre of discussion as the Ministry of Transport’s assistant undersecretary for land transport affairs, Eng. Abdullah Saif al-Sulaiti, met with a World Bank (WB) delegation headed by the WB's regional practice director for infrastructure Almud Weitz, at the ministry’s offices.
