HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received a verbal message from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev concerning bilateral relations and regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The message was conveyed by Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, during a meeting with HH the Amir at Lusail Palace.
At the outset, Mirziyoyeva conveyed the Uzbek president’s greetings and wishes of further progress and prosperity for the Amir and the Qatari people.
HH the Amir entrusted her with his greetings and wishes of good health for President Mirziyoyev and continued development and growth for the Uzbek people.
They also discussed bilateral co-operation and ways to strengthen it across all fields.
HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Khulaifi and HE Chairperson of Qatar Museums Sheikha al-Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani attended the meeting.
