Qatar Airways is expanding its Saudi network this winter with the resumption of flights to Qassim, Taif, Yanbu and Tabuk.
Services to Qassim will restart on October 25, followed by Taif on October 31, Yanbu on January 2, 2027, and Tabuk on January 3. Each destination will be served by two weekly flights, giving passengers greater access to the airline’s global network of more than 160 destinations.
The expansion will take Qatar Airways’ Saudi operations to more than 155 flights a week during the winter season — an increase of over 10% compared with its summer schedule.
The airline said the additional services reflected its long-term commitment to the Saudi market and its efforts to strengthen regional connectivity. It carried more than 2.3mn passengers between Saudi Arabia and its global network over the past 12 months.
Qatar Airways has also increased frequencies on major Saudi routes. Its Riyadh service rose from 35 to 49 weekly flights in June 2026, providing passengers with greater flexibility and more connections through Hamad International Airport.
