HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani held a phone call yesterday with HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah al-Saud, during which they discussed bilateral co-operation and ways to enhance it, along with the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate tensions and bolster security and stability in the region.
During the call, the prime minister reaffirmed Qatar's support for all diplomatic efforts and endeavours aimed at reaching a resolution that ensures freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement achieving lasting peace in the region.
In a separate call, the prime minister spoke with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, during which they discussed bilateral co-operation and ways to advance it, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to reduce tensions and enhance security and stability in the region.
The prime minister stressed Qatar's full support for diplomatic efforts and all endeavours seeking a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement achieving sustainable peace in the region.
