HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani and Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud al-Busaidi, spoke by phone to discuss deepening and expanding co-operation between the two countries.
They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments, particularly the ongoing discussions between the Sultanate of Oman and Iran on a phased framework that includes establishing a temporary shared navigation route through the Strait of Hormuz and agreeing on a joint project to demine the Strait.
The prime minister expressed Qatar's gratitude for the efforts of the brotherly Sultanate of Oman and its full support for its diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and at reinforcing regional stability.
