HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani and Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmed al Sabah held a phone call and discussed bilateral co-operation and the means to enhance it, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic efforts and joint coordination to de-escalate and enhance security and stability in the
region.
The prime minister stressed during the call the importance for all parties to adhere to dialogue and diplomacy, implement what was agreed in the Memorandum of Understanding between the US and Iran, including the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, maintaining the region's security and protecting the gains made, and enhancing regional stability.
He renewed Qatar's full support for all efforts aiming at de-escalation and reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
