Prospective pilgrims planning Haj in 1448 AH (2026-2027) can now walk into any Primary Health Care Corporation health centre and obtain their medical fitness certificate — no appointment, any day of the week.
The certificate is issued free of charge to Qatari citizens and residents at all PHCC health centres. A nominal fee applies only to residents whose residency permit or health card has expired. Certificates come in both paper and electronic form.
PHCC said the service follows the conditions and regulations set by the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, and is in line with Qatar's approved health protocols and procedures.
The corporation said the aim is to let intending pilgrims complete their medical requirements and confirm they are in good health before travelling, so they can perform the rituals safely.
Applications are accepted at all PHCC family medicine centres without a prior booking.
The service forms part of PHCC's wider effort to widen access to comprehensive healthcare and support health preparations for the Haj season. The corporation urged prospective pilgrims not to leave the required medical procedures until the last minute.
