Safari Group has officially commenced operations of its eighth outlet, Safari Shopping Centre – GWC Logistics Village.
The outlet was officially inaugurated by Panakkad Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal, Safari Group of Companies Group chairman Hamad Dafar Abdul Hadi al-Ahbabi, Safari Group deputy chairman and managing director Zainul Abideen, general manager Surendranath, Doha Bank acting chief of Wholesale Banking Fadi Fattal, GWC chief commercial officer Syed Maaz, and GWC chief finance officer Hicham Nedjari, along with representatives of the Safari Management.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by distinguished guests from the political, social, and cultural sectors, including state lawmaker Parakkal Abdulla, IUML Kannur district president Abdul Kareem Chelery, district vice-president Adv K Latheef, IUML Koothuparamba Mandalam treasurer Dr N A Rafeeq, Kallinkandi NAM College general secretary P P Hameed, Roshan – Perinthalmanna, former Kannur district MSF president Riyas Necholi, as well as representatives from leading companies in Qatar.
As part of the inauguration celebrations, everyone visiting the Safari Hypermarket at the GWC Compound, Logistics Village will have the opportunity to participate in the “Visit & Win” promotion.
Two Chevrolet Captiva cars will be awarded through a mega raffle draw, with free raffle coupons available to every visitor without any purchase.
The first winner will be selected through a raffle draw on September 17, 2026, and the second winner will be selected on November 5, 2026, at the GWC Compound, Logistics Village.
