Commercial Bank has once again partnered with the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) to host an educational initiative focused on leadership development through creative learning.
The session took place at Commercial Bank Plaza as part of the Barzan Leadership programme, building on the success of last year’s collaboration.
The initiative continued the ongoing partnership between Commercial Bank and VCUarts, which explores leadership development through experiential and creative learning approaches.
This year’s session, “Leadership through Art”, encouraged participants to engage with new methods of critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
It also fostered a dynamic session of cultural exchange, innovation, and professional growth.
“Investing in our people has always been at the core of our culture,” said Nasser Abdulla al-Harmi, executive general manager and chief human resources officer at Commercial Bank.
“We want to see them grow beyond execution and into leadership, not just in title, but in mindset,” he said. “Building on the success of last year's session, we're proud to continue this collaboration, which pushes our teams to think differently and reinforces a culture of shared growth.”

“This year's session is a strong example of how creative education can shape confident, forward-thinking leaders, while supporting Qatar National Vision 2030's commitment to human development and innovation,” she added.
