BNI Qatar has celebrated its highest achievers at the Annual Business Awards ceremony, held at the conclusion of Project Qatar 2026, where the organisation served as Official Business Networking Sponsor.
National directors Mohammed Shabeeb and Nima Nazarulla announced the winners, including Sajid Ettol, who received the ‘Member of the Year 2026’ award. The award recognises Ettol’s year of outstanding contribution to his fellow members through referrals, reliability, and active participation.
The award reflects the core value that sits at the heart of the BNI model — Givers Gain — a member who grows his business by consistently putting the success of others first and, in doing so, strengthens the entire network.
BNI Phoenix was honoured as ‘Chapter of the Year’, capping a remarkable period of growth. Now the largest chapter in Qatar with 55 members, Phoenix has set the standard for engagement and the volume of business its members generate for one another. Its scale and momentum make it a flagship example of what a committed referral community can achieve.
The awards underscore BNI's broader role in supporting business owners across Qatar. Through its structured weekly meetings, training, and trusted referral system, BNI gives entrepreneurs and small business owners a reliable platform to win new business, build lasting relationships, and grow with confidence.
Rather than relying on cold outreach, members generate work through warm introductions rooted in trust — a model that has delivered substantial business worldwide since BNI's establishment in 1985.
Presenting the awards at Project Qatar gave the ceremony a fitting stage, placing the achievements of BNI's members before the wider business community and affirming the network's growing prominence in Qatar's commercial landscape.
BNI Qatar continues to expand its footprint and its impact, contributing to the diversified, private-sector-led economy envisioned in Qatar National Vision 2030.
