The Arab League vehemently decried these egregious Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles.
These gratuitous attacks on civilian objects and critical infrastructure like Kuwait International Airport, which claimed human lives and inflicted gross material damage, are a grave escalation, Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in a statement yesterday.
Aboul Gheit stressed that these acts of aggression run afoul of the UN Charter, international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Conventions of 1949, along with their additional protocols.
He demanded that the Iranian side immediately and unconditionally cease these unprovoked assaults and desist from the policy of provocation and escalation that is haunting regional security and stability.
The Arab League fully stands side by side with the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain and unwaveringly backs them in all lawful measures they pursue to safeguard their sovereignty, the security of their citizens, and their territorial integrity, Aboul Gheit underlined.
For his part, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi stressed that he vehemently condemns the relentless Iranian acts of aggression against these two nations, explaining that these cowardly attacks on civilian objects, infrastructure, and diplomatic premises amount to an unprecedented and perilous escalation.
This aggression, Albudaiwi insisted, demonstrates the determination of the Iranian regime to pursue unacceptable belligerent policies that target the security of the GCC nations, as well as their stability and sovereignty.
He reemphasised that these relentless attacks lay bare Iran's pursuit of unacceptable antagonistic policies that intend to blunt regional security in a flagrant breach of international law, the UN Charter, and all international norms.

President of the Arab Parliament Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi denounced these reprehensible attacks, labeling them as a blatant violation of all international laws and norms, as well as the tenets of international humanitarian law.
Attacking the passenger terminal at Kuwait's airport with UAVs resulted in gross material damage to that building, with some people being wounded, Al Yamahi highlighted.
Al Yamahi noted that attacking civilian objects in the Kingdom of Bahrain with missiles and UAVs demonstrates the criminal nature of the Iranian regime and amounts to a dangerous escalation and an unacceptable belligerent approach that imperils the security and stability of the region.
The Arab Parliament stands side by side with those two countries and backs them in all measures they pursue to protect their national security and the safety of citizens and residents there, Al Yamahi said, hailing the incredible aptitude and readiness of the armed forces in those nations to repel these criminal attacks.
Al Yamahi demanded that the international community and the Security Council take a decisive and immediate position to cease these dangerous violations and ensure they are never repeated in order to protect regional and global security and peace.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised in a statement that these terrorist attacks are tantamount to an egregious violation of the State of Kuwait's sovereignty and international law, as well as imperiling its security and stability and the safety of critical and civilian facilities in the country.
Targeting diplomatic missions and premises, the statement said, amounts to a flagrant violation of international law and established international norms, particularly the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantees the inviolability of diplomatic premises and the protections afforded to diplomatic personnel.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed that Egypt stands by the State of Kuwait in confronting this heinous attack, expressing its enduring solidarity with the Kuwaiti government and people and its backing for all measures undertaken to safeguard its security and stability and protect its territory and critical facilities.
The Ministry further reiterated that the security and stability of the Gulf Arab nations constitute a cornerstone of Arab national security, stressing its blanket condemnation of any acts or practices that entail a violation of state sovereignty or pose a threat to national security and territorial integrity, thereby threatening the security and stability of the region as a whole.
Jordan also condemned the Iranian attacks targeting civilian and critical facilities in those countries, including Kuwait International Airport, labeling them as a brazen violation of their sovereignty, a threat to their security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a perilous escalation that amounts to a blatant breach of international law and the UN Charter.

The Palestinian President also vehemently condemned the Iranian attacks on the State of Kuwait and confirmed that the State of Palestine and its people fully stand with the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government, and people.
The Presidency confirmed that it flatly rejects any attack that compromises the sovereignty of Arab nations, their security, and their stability.
It stressed that the State of Palestine thoroughly backs all measures the State of Kuwait pursues to protect its security, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens.
For his part, Prime Minister of Lebanon Nawaf Salam strongly condemned these attacks, which, he noted, amount to a grave violation of nations' sovereignty and security and squarely imperil the stability of the region.
These unacceptable Iranian antics run contrary to the international rules-based order and the principles of good neighborliness, thereby exposing the security of the entire region to further tension and escalation, Salam reemphasized.
