HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan al-Thani met yesterday with Indonesian Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.
An official reception ceremony was held on this occasion for the Deputy Prime Minister upon his arrival to the headquarters of the Indonesian Ministry of Defence.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest security developments in the region as well as aspects of military co-operation and joint coordination under the current circumstances.
The meeting also witnessed the signing of a deal between Barzan Holdings and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, and a partnership agreement between Barzan Holdings and Republikorp.
Qatari ambassador to Indonesia Sultan bin Mubarak al-Dosari, attended the meeting, alongside several senior officers and officials from both sides.
