His Excellency Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met on Tuesday, separately, with the Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar, Arnaud Pescheux and the Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic, Ana Filomena da Costa Rocha.
During the two meetings, cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and both the French Republic and the Republic of Portugal were reviewed, particularly in the parliamentary field.
Ways to enhance cooperation between the Shura Council and the French and Portuguese parliaments were also discussed, as well as activating the role of parliamentary friendship groups, intensifying mutual visits and emphasizing the importance of continuing coordination and consultation in regional and international parliamentary forums.
