HE the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr Hamda bint Hassan al-Sulaiti, currently visiting Greece, met with the First Vice-President of the Hellenic Parliament Ioannis Plakiotakis.
During her visit, HE Dr al-Sulaiti also met with the chair of the parliament’s Standing Committee on Defence and Foreign Affairs Dora Bakoyannis, the chair of the Greek-Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group Christodoulos Stefanadis, and the Special Envoy of the Greek Prime Minister for the Ocean Dionysia-Theodora Avgerinopoulou.
The meetings explored bilateral co-operation between the Shura Council and the Hellenic Parliament along with ways to strengthen and develop it in various parliamentary fields. – QNA
