HE the Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed al-Thani visited the Police Operations Command Center and the Information Fusion Center (IFC) of the Singapore Navy, on the sidelines of his visit to the Republic of Singapore to participate in the Milipol TechX 2026 Exhibition and Summit.
During the visit, HE Sheikh Abdulaziz was briefed in detail on the mechanisms of work at the Police Operations Command Center, its role in handling reports, managing security incidents, and co-ordinating among various security units.
He also reviewed the operational system of the IFC, which is considered an advanced platform for sharing and analysing maritime information, supporting efforts to secure maritime routes, and enhance maritime safety.
HE Sheikh Abdulaziz commended Singapore’s advanced expertise in the fields of security and technology, emphasising the importance of strengthening co-operation and exchanging expertise to further develop security systems between both sides.
