His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received at his office in the Amiri Diwan on Thursday, Minister of Defence of the friendly Italian Republic Guido Crosetto, and the accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
Both sides discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly the current situation in the Middle East and its repercussions on the region.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Italian Republic, especially in the fields of defense and military cooperation, and explored avenues for developing and strengthening this cooperation.
