The Ministry of Transport has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring limousine operators and ride-hailing companies comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements, as part of efforts to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality transport services in line with approved national standards.
As part of this framework, the Ministry has intensified inspection campaigns across the country, with a focus on key commercial and service areas, in coordination with relevant departments of the Ministry of Interior. The campaigns include verifying valid operating licences and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
During the first quarter of 2026, a total of 32 violations were recorded, underscoring continued enforcement to uphold safety, service quality and regulatory discipline across the sector.
