The Embassy of India and the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC) Qatar recently organised a business interaction with India’s Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri in Doha. The session provided a platform to engage with the minister and gain insights into India’s energy sector, as well as emerging opportunities for collaboration between India and Qatar. During the opening ceremony, IBPC Qatar president Thaha Muhammed Abdul Kareem highlighted the strengthening relationship between India and Qatar. Meanwhile, Puri expressed appreciation for Qatar’s continued support to the Indian diaspora, noting that his visit conveys the solidarity of India with Qatar in the current circumstances. He lauded the contributions of Indian businessmen and professionals to Qatar’s economic development. The minister also shared perspectives on India’s economic growth, policy reforms, and the government’s commitment to fostering global trade linkages and sustainable partnerships with Qatar.
