The Ministry of Municipality has revealed the discharge of over 128mn gallons of rainwater over 68 continuous hours of operation, as part of the Joint Rainfall Emergency Committee’s efforts to handle the weather conditions that swept across the country on March 25-28.
The ministry posted on X Platform yesterday that operation teams, comprising 808 staff members and workers backed by 479 field mechanisms, conducted 30,416 water extraction operations and handled 2,755 service requests received through the Unified Call Centre Department.
