Qatar’s National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has issued a critical cyber alert, urging iPhone users to immediately install the latest security updates released by Apple to address actively exploited vulnerabilities in certain iOS versions.
The agency warned that these vulnerabilities are being used in sophisticated cyberattacks, potentially allowing attackers to gain full control of devices through malicious websites or infected links, posing serious risks including data theft and espionage.
While newer iOS versions have received patches, devices still operating on older systems—particularly iOS 13 and 14—remain vulnerable and have been specifically targeted. Additional updates for these versions are expected soon.
The NCSA strongly advised users to update their devices without delay and to remain vigilant by avoiding suspicious links and messages from unknown sources to safeguard their personal data and digital security.
