Blending competition with tradition, the Halal Qatar Festival 2026 continues at the southern area of Katara Cultural Village, showcasing the authenticity of Qatari and Gulf heritage while reinforcing Bedouin values and supporting local livestock production.
The festival has drawn a large turnout and wide Gulf participation from livestock owners and breeders, reaffirming its status as a leading platform within the cultural and economic landscape. Breeders’ expertise is on full display, embodying long-standing traditions and highlighting their continued relevance today.
Competitions in the Arab sheep category witnessed strong rivalry between local and Gulf participants, while the Awarid category also saw intense contest. Winners of the Golden Farm Award were crowned in both categories, recognising excellence in breeding and farm management.
In addition to the competitions, dedicated pavilions offer visitors an immersive cultural experience, featuring tasting opportunities and direct engagement with exhibitors.
