The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced the apprehension of five unlicensed individuals practicing specialized cosmetic medical activities in a beauty salon. The Ministry stated that the apprehension was carried out in cooperation with the relevant authorities, and that all legal measures are currently being taken against the practitioners and the violating establishment in accordance with the laws and regulations governing the practice of health professions in the country.
This comes as part of the Ministry's intensive oversight efforts to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards in the health sector. The MoPH urged members of the public to verify that they receive health services at licensed healthcare facilities and from practitioners holding valid licenses issued by the Ministry, in order to protect their health and ensure access to safe and reliable healthcare services.
The Ministry clarified that the license status of any healthcare practitioner in the country can be verified through the "Find a Registered Healthcare Practitioner" service on the MoPH's website.
