The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's raid on the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem, calling it a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a direct challenge to international will.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that Israel's systematic targeting of UNRWA threatens the agency's ability to provide essential services to millions of Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. The ministry urged the international community to act firmly to prevent what it described as potentially catastrophic humanitarian consequences.Qatar reaffirmed its full support for UNRWA, highlighting its longstanding commitment to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
