A team of more than 200 students from MES Indian School joined the Qatar Diabetes Walkathon 2025, on November 14 by the lake at Aspire Park, as part of the global observance of World Diabetes Day. The event formed part of a broader community initiative that included fitness sessions, live music, children's entertainment, health-awareness workshops, and free blood glucose screenings for all visitors. Participants gained practical knowledge on the importance of regular physical activity, a balanced diet, and the critical role of early detection in effectively managing diabetes. Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar congratulated all participants from the school. The MES team was co-ordinated and supervised by Jency George and Radhika Rajan (Campus Care Force), Rajesh K S (Scouts), Asha V Nair (Guides), and Fency Pathrose (Cubs and Bulbuls).
