HE Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, met today at the Hospitality Building in the Ministry of Defense with Lt Gen. S. M. Kamrul Hasan, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division at the Office of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and his accompanying delegation, during his visit to the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of military cooperation and reviewed Qatar-Bangladesh military relations.

On the sidelines of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation was signed between the two sides.

The MoU was signed by the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces on the Qatari side, and by the Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division at the Office of the Prime Minister on the Bangladeshi side.

The meeting and signing ceremony were attended by Maj. Gen. Rashid Mohammed Al-Hajri, Brig. (Air) Khalid Awjan Al-Khiyarin, and a number of senior QAF officers
