Amrit Uttar Pradesh Navrang Sanskritik Mandal (AUPNSM), Qatar, hosted its annual flagship event ‘Roshni Utsav 2025’ - a celebration of light, culture and togetherness.

The event witnessed participation of over 300 expatriate families from the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. AUPNSM president Nita Mishra welcomed the chief guest, Indian ambassador Vipul, and other dignitaries including Indian embassy counsellor Gyanveer Singh and his wife Nitika Singh, and community leaders.

The evening commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony followed by cultural performances by the community members from Uttar Pradesh, the most populated Indian state, showcasing the values of unity in diversity, cultural harmony and festive joy.

In his address, ambassador Vipul appreciated the efforts of AUPNSM in promoting cultural exchange and community engagement among Indian expatriates and emphasised the importance of such platforms in strengthening the cultural bond between India and Qatar.

President Nita Mishra and the management committee members Abhishek Srivastava, Nikhil Srivastava, Ajay Rai, Arun Verma, Vinod Kr. Mishra, Sweta Rai, Mayank Sharma and Ashutosh Mishra thanked all sub-committee members for their efforts for the success of the event.
