ICAI Doha chapter has hosted a Certificate Course on artificial intelligence (AICA – Level 1) in Doha.

The intensive three-day programme was designed exclusively for chartered accountants to equip them with practical insights into AI, Machine Learning, and generative AI, and their applications in finance, taxation, and business decision-making.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from sixty members keen to explore how emerging technologies are transforming the financial landscape.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of the ICAI’s leaders of AI: Charanjot Singh Nanda, president; Prasanna Kumar D, vice-president; Umesh Sharma, chairman, AI in ICAI; and Dayaniwas Sharma, vice-chairman, AI in ICAI.

Faculty members, including Harpreet Singh (Certified Faculty in Machine Learning and Generative AI), Alok Sethi (Expert on Finance, Taxation & Generative AI), and Akhil Pachori (Expert on AI in Finance and Technology), led the sessions, blending conceptual knowledge with live demonstrations of AI tools tailored for accounting and audit professionals.
