The Al Jazeera Center for Studies has published the 28th issue (Autumn 2025) of its journal, Lubab for Strategic Studies.
This issue includes a collection of studies examining the shifts in regional and international balances of power within their historical, economic, and diplomatic contexts, and highlighting the position of small and medium-sized states in the new international order.
The journal opens with a study titled “Balancing Strategies in Relations with the Ottomans and the British during the Era of the Founding Fathers of Qatar (1851-1949),” which explores the roots of modern Qatari foreign policy through an analysis of historical balance-of-power relations with the Ottoman and British empires.
