Qatar Charity participated in the ceremony organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with United Nations Organisation in Qatar, marking United Nations Day, which falls annually on October 24.
Qatar Charity’s participation in the UN Day event reflected a vivid model of the effective partnership between national humanitarian organizations and international bodies, in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals and the promotion of humanitarian action worldwide.
As part of the event, Qatar Charity showcased a photo exhibition highlighting its joint projects with UN agencies, illustrating the strategic relationship that connects development and humanitarian efforts. The exhibition also featured products from Qatar Charity’s innovative initiative “Nafla”.
Representing Qatar Charity at the event were Faisal bin Rashid al-Fuhaid, assistant CEO for the Social Development Sector, and Abdulaziz Hajji, director of Development Operations.
