American School of Doha alumna Noor Azrieh has been recognised at the international Signal Awards, earning both the Silver Award and the Listener’s Choice Award in the Best Host (News & Politics) category.

Currently based in Canada, Azrieh is the host and producer of the Canadaland Politics podcast, a programme known for its incisive coverage of current affairs and its accessible approach to complex political topics, a statement from ASD said.

Azrieh’s double win marks a significant achievement in the competitive field of podcasting, reflecting her exceptional skill, insight, and ability to engage audiences on global issues.

She was once voted “Most Likely to Have a Hit Podcast” by her university peers. The Signal Awards celebrate excellence in podcasting worldwide, recognising creators who elevate the medium through originality, storytelling, and audience impact.
