In continuation of Qatar’s efforts to deliver urgent humanitarian relief to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, a new shipment of humanitarian aid arrived at Port Said in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a statement said.
The shipment includes 29,200 shelter tents provided by Qatar Fund for Development, Qatar Charity, and the Qatar Red Crescent Society, in preparation for their transport to the Gaza Strip through Egyptian territory, to provide safe and dignified shelter for tens of thousands of families who have lost their homes due to the aggression.
This initiative reaffirms Qatar’s steadfast commitment to supporting the brotherly Palestinian people and reflects its ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out within the framework of enduring Arab solidarity and in line with Qatar’s principled and longstanding position toward the just Palestinian cause, the statement added.
